[Box Truck Spotlight] Calcagno Cullen

The Box Truck Spotlight highlights box truck artists in the ArtWorks’ Box Truck Carnival at the Midpoint Midway.  The Midpoint Midway will be located on 12th Street between Walnut Street and Vine Street during Midpoint Music Festival (September 27-29) on Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Sept. 28, 5-11pm and Saturday, September 29th, 1-11pm.

About Calcagno Cullen:

Calcagno Cullen is a multimedia artist living in San Francisco, CA, having received her MFA from the University of Cincinnati in 2007 and moving west shortly after.  Her work has been shown in many curated exhibits throughout the US and she was recently featured in the performance and film festival, DISTANCE in London, England as well as had work shown at the TEDxSF talks at YBCA in San Francisco.  In summer 2011 she was awarded an Embark Grant through Million Fishes and False Profit, LLC, and had a subsequent solo show at Million Fishes Art Collective in San Francisco.  In 2012 she served as an artist in residence in Calabria, Italy and was also awarded a curatorial residency at SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco for an exhibit in 2013.  She is also currently the Program Manager for the Art4Schools Program at Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View.
